Flip Chip COB LED Screen, also known as an on board chip, is a technology that solves the problem of LED heat dissipation. Compared with inline and SMD, its characteristics are space saving, simplified packaging operations, and efficient thermal management methods. COB refers to covering the placement points of silicon wafers with thermal conductive epoxy resin on the substrate surface, and then placing the silicon wafers directly on the substrate surface. Heat treatment is carried out until the silicon wafers are firmly fixed on the substrate, and then wire welding is used to directly establish electrical connections between the silicon wafers and the substrate. Compared to the traditional COB, the inverted COB has a simpler structure, LED resistance to higher currents, simplified manufacturing process, better heat dissipation, higher stability, and good RGB mixing effect.
